Laboratories

In our college possess an atmosphere and surrounding set-up that is enlivened by the exposure of our students to Hi-Tech state of the art equipment from leading educational equipment suppliers. To aid it, we possess a staff that is highly qualified and proficient in the field of computers to provide proper guidance and provide right and thorough practical training. A superb computer laboratory equipped adequately with the latest generation computers systems comprising of Pentium Machines with color monitors along with UNIX, LAN, and Windows NT systems in a networking setup. Further more, we possess Ink Jet printers and Dot Matrix Printers.

Our Physics and Electronics Laboratories are also well-equipped aided by a staff to ensure adherence to Practical methodology, sufficient infrastructure lies on hand to power the fuel of practical learning process in Physics, Electronics, etc. with enough time to learn and perform for each student.  An Air Conditioned Bio-Technology laboratory exist with Ultra Modern Equipment such as Spectro Photo Meter, Colori Meter, Auto Clave, Incubator, Hot Air Oven Centrifuge, Digital Spectro photo meter, vertical laminar flow, Gel Electrophoresis, Refrigerator and Distilled Water Plant etc.

Every laboratory is furnished with latest equipment to meet the requirements of our students and with help from a highly qualified and experienced PhD faculty; learning process is a veritable enjoyable one.

Sports

The College strongly believes in the grooming of the personality of the students with special emphasis on extra curricular activities. The same enables them to showcase their talent and gain success.  We feel proud to reveal that our students have been successful in achieving good results and some of them are notified as follows-

Our college basketball team has secured 1st place in the intercollegiate tournaments held as Kakatiya University, Warangal. Mr G Yakaiah of I BCom, Mr G. Suresh of III BTBC and Mr Syed Imam of III MPCS have represented our college in South Zone Inter University Competitions played at Chennai. Mr Yakaiah of I BCom of our college led  Kakatiya University as captain of BasketBall team. Mr G Suresh III BTBC (Black Belt, Holder) of our college has secured 1st place in Karate Champion Ship of AP. Mr G Suresh III BTBC and Mr Syed Imam - III MPCS of our college have won the AP Net Ball Champion Ship held at Ongole (Prakasham District) Kum Ch Sujatha of I BTBC was selected for South/West Zone Inter University Competitions held at Chidambaram (Tamilnadu) in the Hand Ball game. Kum Sujatha of II MBZC was selected for All India University played at Rajkote (Rajasthan) in the Chess Event. Kum Samatha Tiwary of I BCom was selected for South Zone Inter University played at VTU-Belgaum (Karnataka) in the Table-Tennis event. Mr Hari Krishna was selected for the Zonal Kabaddi Teams of Khamma Zone. Mr Bucchi Babu of III MPCS was selected for the Zonal in the Cricket Team.

National Cadet Corps

Our NCC wing came into origin in the year 1999 and has maintained a steady progress over the years. We focus our activities in a way that enables our students to appear for NCC B & C Certificate examinations and organising several other related activities.

Our aim is to create a human resource bank of organised, trained and motivated youth, who are inspired to assume proper leadership role in all walks of life and are ever ready to play a notable role in nation building tasks. Some of our notable achievements are

Corporal N Suresh attended the State Level Republic day camp held at Hyderabad from 15/01/2004 to 26/01/2004. Senior Under Officer D. Kiran Kumar attended the Attachment with Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun camp held at Dehradun. 7 cadets attended the Regular Army attachment camp held at Hyderabad. At an organised Blood donation camp in collaboration with Mythri Charitable trust, Hyderabad, 23 cadets donated their Blood. 45 cadets appeared for the 'B' - Certificate Examination. 23 cadets appeared for the 'C' - Certificate Examination. Sri Aravind Kumar, IAS, District Collector planted a sapling in our college.

National Service Scheme

We established a National Service Scheme with the theme of training our young students to adopt National Service duty and bring laurels to our nation. Towards the same, we conduct various community service related activities.  Good results have accrued and some of them are notified as follows-

NSS Winter Special Camp- We have successfully completed 3 years vide continuous holding of camp at M Venkatayapalem in Khammam Rural Mandal. The camp is organised between February 5th to 14th, 2004. Blood Donation Camp- Was organised in association with Mythri Charitable Trust, Hyd on NSS Day. World Environment Day- was organised with in association with Nehru Yuvaka Kendram and District Pollution Control Board, World Environment Day.  Shri Arvind Kumar, IAS, District Collector delivered the keynote address. District Youth Festival- Our students participated in the District level youth festival held at JVR Govt. Degree College, Sathupally.
